Update Content After Publishing

Hi Friends,

If i update the content on post or page after publishing it then should i need to do anything.Will google index the updated page/post automatically.If i add more content,new links and new keywords in the same post/page after being published.

    When the Google crawls your site next time, the updated post/page may get updated as you added new content. But, it's better to let Google know that you added new content by pinging your post/page and also you can submit url to Google.

    The first time it crawls your website it could index your OLD content, but no problems at all as the next time it visits your website it will "CHANGE" this content to your new one. Not sure if you should ping as it's not a very good idea to ping after every change (let's say you change it 5 times in a short period for example!)
