Moz Local + Yahoo Localworks?

Does anyone foresee any problem using BOTH Moz Local and Yahoo Localworks? They distribute to some of the same sites and I was wondering is there would be an overlap and/or turf war issue?

For the price of yahoo alone ($359.88/year) couldn't you outsource the same directory listings so they never get cancelled, plus you'll have all the login info per directory for any future edits If needed?

Isn't using Yahoo outsourcing? I don't want some random ESL person doing my listings. And I don't have time to do it, so Moz and Yahoo seem like perfectly acceptable alternatives. Plus, Yahoo even gives you a nice report you can tweak into a white labeled masterpiece to give to your clients.

Also, with both Moz and Yahoo, you have a dashboard to make any changes you need.

I meant a one-time fee outsource. Your paying monthly for infinity with yahoo local.

I totally understand about the time issue but personally I wouldn't pay for infinity If I could get the same job done with a one-time fee.

Maybe I'm missing something, are the directories in yahoo all free or any paid directories? I didn't see a list of directories which I guess is what your looking for with both yahoo/moz in OP? Yahoo advertises 50 directories but that's all I see besides the screenshots (yelp, bing, etc...).

To be honest, I don't see the need for a dashboard as long as the info. is correct on the first directory list setup. I mean how often does an average business change it's location/hours.

Can you point me to someone who does this?

They partnered with Yext, and I believe several of them are paid. Same with Moz using Localeze, BOTW, etc.

You'd be surprised. I have a restaurant client right now changing their hours.

The best I can say on that is shop around.

If there's paid directories involved then it could very well be a decent deal/price, If it's all free directories I would find a better deal (long term).

As long as it's a client I guess they'll eat the cost regardless (it's their project). If you could lower your cost, that's potentially more recurring profit on your end (maintenance fee).

            [edit]
Talk with Mike Friedman about your OP question, he does a lot of local.

Thanks Yukon for the info. I read elsewhere that Localworks may not be necessary if I have patience (for Moz) and don't need to add coupons, et al.

Have you thought about using Bright Local and their citation blaster or whatever it's called now?

Using multiple services for this could indeed end up with an overlap. This is a problem when it comes to building citations and if one service for some reason formats NAP differently than the other, even if it is just a difference between www and non www, I've seen issues in conflicting citations.

Thankfully, right now citations are holding much less weight than they were about a year or 2 ago. Usually if you focus on the 10 most powerful citations, you're going to be doing better than many others who have 50-100. There's more important factors to focus on.

For local, I find that citations and profiles on Yelp, GMB, etc are one of the main traffic factors/funnels right now. For broader SEO, I'm not sure though.

I personally believe in man power, but if you are going to use a service like this Localeze is probably one of the best because it feeds the data instead of creating it! But absolutely do not use two at the same time! Because Yahoo Local Works uses Yext which creates data so if you fed MOZ it feeds the data then if Yahoo Local kicked in it would create new data which would create multiple listings.

Ideally, yea. Hey though, side note...GMB.

Although Google My Business gets a bad wrap, do you agree that Google uses pages people followed to help personalize their search results for any given category?
