Looking for a fast social media button for my wordpress site. I was using shareholic but it really slows your site down a heap. Any suggestions anybody?

    I'd take the code that the services offer. Often easier to customize, doesn't include extra code you don't need, and you can do stuff like have it in an iframe.

      Google reads iframes sometimes. You can test this by making a page, put an iframe on it, the iframe'd page should have a link to another page. The 3rd page should have highly unique content that will rank obscure phrases like "A man known as Grimmis Mcsnackmaster Donald Jackehavoen went to the Card Magic Brown Blower Store." Put a single link to page 1 from something like your about page, just somewhere tucked away where Google will find it but real people probably won't. Then quote search it in Google after page 1 gets indexed. Check your logs as well. It worked for me but some people it doesn't so /headscratch ...
