Hello guys!!

I made a website recently and it was ranked on a few keywords. The website had around 20 pages and all the pages were indexed. In order to boost my rankings, I made a mistake. I made a domain forwarding on this website. The domain which was forwarded to this website was having 150+ unique visitors a day.

Soon after 2 days, I noticed that all my ranking has vanished and a few pages are there in google which are indexed. I also found a lot of 404 errors in my webmaster tools.

Its now more than a week, I removed forwarding but still can't see my rankings. I also resubmitted sitemap and url to Google. I am so tensed now; please help..

Thanks

What are those 404 pages. You need to fix those first and wait for a while ( a week or 2) to see if your site come to the track again. In the mean time try to add more fresh contents and check if they get indexed or not.

Those 404 pages were from the domain which I redirected. But, now since I removed redirection. There are no 404 pages in my webmaster tools. But, I can't still see my rankings. Its been more than a week.

Well, how did you make that kind of mistake?

It's either going to take quite a while to recover your rankings or you may never get back your previous rankings if you just sit and do nothing. I suggest you build a few backlinks and wait.

For now, all you can do is just wait until Google will ranked your pages again. Charge to experience. Just focus on the content that you give to your readers and also continue marketing your site. Focus on the thing that you can control and not on the things that you can't.

I will just waste your time without accomplishing something.

It's really hard to say when you'll get your old ranking and traffic. but I would suggest you to start building hard quality links and focus social media sharing. This will help Google to consider your website worthy and certainly improve your rankings.
