Review your history links and if you find bad/spam links file a reconsideration request to Google and simultaneously produce quality links from interesting and engaging content.

Check out your Keywords, Keywords might have repeated many times in the website, or you may have duplicate content in your website. Optimize your website again. Check all the details.

First check your traffic from analytics and also check in webmaster if there is another penalty.

If you really believe its penguin, you should manually remove links or use disavow tool.

Search engine traffic is volatile and you could lose it any day Google decides it doesn't want you benefiting from their traffic anymore. To resolve penguin issues, use Google. There are lots of articles online on how to recover from penguin penalties.

May be you were creating unnatural links. Use Ahrefs to anaylze your backlink profile. If you spot an unnatural linking pattern.

You either remove the links yourself or use the disavow tool.

If you are hit by Penguin you need to remove unnatural and toxic links.

It's the only way to fix issues with Penguin.

Well, now you need to start things from the scratch link removal process, better to download all the backlinks from the Google webmaster tool, once done spot out the bad backlinks and start removing them out !! Other than that there's nothing you can do ...

Other than that there is something else he can do - disavow the links.

I know this is the SEO part of the forum but I would strongly encourage you seek out other avenues of traffic...FB and other social media and article syndication and PPC if you have the capital.

Google is just too volatile and as you have discovered, you are just one hair away from losing all your traffic if you depend on them entirely. It took me years to come around to this realization myself but I had to face the truth.

I am not saying you can't SEO your way to a great income. Many on this forum do. But if you are tired of Google's ever changing updates then you need a different strategy.

If I were in your situation, I would try and get a blog going that is non Google dependent and is earning well enough. Then and only then, if you wish, you could experiment with SEO, PBNs and what not with another site you own.

When you already have an ongoing success under your belt that isn't Google dependent, then there is less pressure on you and you are not scrambling to fix something that is gonna need fixing again down the road.

Get yourself a link removal service to help you or jump on over to majestic.com/ahrefs.com/webmaster tools and roll up your sleeves and dive in. You will need to identify the bad links and get them removed. As Moz pointed out and Matt Cutts has said time and time again, remove the links to recover from Penguin.
