First of all I think this is in the correct category as ultimately the question is about SERP results.

I publish a blog post almost daily and usually post in on my FB, Twitter and G+ pages. I also post it on say 3 FB groups and, maybe 2 G+ communities.

Would Google consider this spamming?

I ask as I had some good results in the SERPS (page 1 below fold) I seem to be at the top of page 2 now which has decreased organic visitors a lot.

How often should I post a link to my new blog post to be placing and not spamming?

Sharing your site in social media groups and through your networks is not considered spamming, and you should be doing more of it if you have more opportunities for it. If anything, it will help you get your articles get more shares and more opportunities for natural links.

Not something that I share a lot - well actually never have... but if you are doing all of that sharing all at once... I believe you are wasting a perfectly good piece of content.

If you are using feedburner and have an attached G+ account to your blog, a G+ submission is instant and a given. not something you have to focus on. I then will release to my facebook timeline I usually target my AM reach first. A few days later I introduce the content to twitter a few days later I introduce it to fb groups in the AM. days after that I then post back on my main fb feed in the PM. and lastly will repost to fb groups in the pm about a week after that.

With my personal chain of social outlets the process is about 3 weeks in the making. For me, the intent of sharing content is the "desire" to create back links. - I am not talking about the social itself being the back link, but the linking that happens away from your social efforts.

So in SEO "best practices" when you are developing backlinks, you want to do so using a drip method. a few at a time, over time vs slamming a bunch all at once. If you are slamming out all of these outlets all at once, you can in essence slam your potential for back linking all at once. Probably not at a level that will get you in trouble, but just once you get something to go "viral" and the potential is there.

This method also has other benefits. you can start looking at GA and have an idea of what content is working with what audience the best. anytime you can get an insight as to what people are more interested in looking at is always a good thing. I am finding that there is actually a distinction from social platform to platform, even with the same target, exactly what type of content works best with each.

    Hope that Helps!

Don't know about other networks but frequent posting on G+ (including communities) should be avoided as one of my friend got warning from Google for doing so.

Sharing the same content on your own feed and then turning around and sharing the same in group after group is looked down apon by G, yes.

You can share your link as many times as you want. There's no limit and it won't be considered spamming by Google. Google encourages social media promotion and engagement.

It is not meant as spamming, but I am sure you will loss in SERP's. Try to promote a day after on Social media sites to get traffic. I am saying this because Social media sites can rank in Google better place than your own site.
