Copied from where? If you have copied contents from high traffic popular site then probably Not, but if you did that from a site that is rarely visited by the SEs and copied those contents on your high traffic (or frequent visits site by SEs) then may be Yes.

No, copying articles hurts every site that article is posted on AND if the article is not yours, then it's also a crime. Write original content, that's the only way to naturally rank.

If you can't write a new article, hire someone to write a new article for you. It is better than the duplicate article.

Google has mostly banned copies content to post in the sites, but still there are some sites e.g. article sites, blog sites that are accepting already posted content. But be careful if you are posting same content in 3-4 sites, you must spin it, you can change the title, and you can change the anchor text or use any other variation to keep yourself genuine. But doing it in a large number of sites would be harmful.

So, you contradict yourself...they ban them, but allow them.

Google does not ban copied, borrowed, or stolen content.

The internet and google serps are full of it. Obviously, you people spend no
time actually using this thing, called the internet, or the likes of you
above would not be posting such nonsense replies.

United States copyright law has little bearing. Just more silly answers.
3-4 billion people in certain parts of the world could care less.

Someone sneezes the words, "copied content," and you people just go batty.

Nobody can ever tell anyone that they can or cannot rank. Each person,
website, time, date, situation, etc. is different.

Why not try it, then let us know.

But seriously. Some of you really need to go out there, surf around, do
some real searches, read the news, etc. and find just what this
dat burned thing is they call the internet.

Whilst I agree with the fact that Google is full of pages containing duplicate articles, I can boldly assert that copied content won't rank unless the site it was copied from isn't indexed or has significantly less authority than the copycat site.

Complete BS. I can't believe you actually typed that without laughing your head off.

I can boldly assert that you have no clue. And like I have said many, many times
before, anyone with "SEO" in their name, should know this crap.

I used the word "mostly" not "completely".There are some sites that are still accepting copied content, you can search on the web.

Do you own the content? If yes, just transfer the content to a new blog/location. I would say that it depends on how you promote the content and how you present it to your readers. Having said that it has only 2 external backlinks, I can conclude that its previous location have less exposure and have not caught reader's attention.

In short, there's a possibility to rank but there are many factors to consider. Time, Strategies, and Efforts are required to rank for it.

Never copy any content from sites, make sure give some value to the poor writers, those spend their valuable time in researching and writing content.
Google will Ban your site from their engine if caught also the original content site will force you to remove using DMCA.

      Hi,

Whether your are coping from high traffic site or low traffic does not matters, you are more likely to get problem like plagiarism which in turn affect the reputation of your blog and there is a high chance for your website to get low ranking on SEO.
I strongly recommend to go with original content for your blog.

Hi, in my opinion the best way to rank (in minutes) is creating easy/free engaging videos

not also because they rank easy and fast but also because people love watching videos and they're more engaging

    Hope that helps
