Outranking Youtube in the SERP??

I'm wondering how to gauge how difficult it will be to outrank a Youtube video on a given keyword.

They all seem to have a PageRank of 9 with over 3 million indexed pages thanks to Youtube, so how do I know the likelihood of my new niche site outranking the youtube link??

Also, I see pages that are information on the location of physical store locations with ratings such as yelp pages and was wondering how hard these will be to outrank as well. Thanks for any help!

Any tips from anyone??

Obviously depending on the niche, I don't find it overly difficult to outrank youtube videos. In a lot of spaces I work in I am actually trying to beating my own videos. In all of the niches and serps I look at, youtube videos never really make it to the top, as much as they linger in the 4th and 5th spots normally.

The yelp and yellow pages pages tend to be a bit more of a challenge with a new build. but over time, you will take them over if your page is set up correctly and hitting on all cylinders. Like most everything that has to do with SEO... there are some things that can give you just short of instant results, and then there are some other elements that have to be grown into.

Ah, I see. I was thinking that due to the huge domain authority that youtube and yelp/yellowpages has, it would be fairly difficult but I guess that's not the exact case. Thanks for the help!
