Should I Index my Author Page ?

Hello, I have a query and I don't know what is the best practice for that. Should I post by my name or by admin only ? should I index my author page ? I know these are very silly questions, but i am in a fix what to do. please help me here. Thanks in advance.

    I also think it's a good idea to use your real name and photo. This makes a consumer feel like they're dealing with a real person.. People feel more confident buying something from a real person.

    Your author page is just going to be an exact duplicate as the blogroll (with your name at the top).
    No-index it and just create an about page if you want something indexed about yourself.

    I won't recommend you to index author page instead create about me page and put all your details there.

    The simple answer to - "should I index my author page ?"

    If you are running a blog with multiple authors, then get every author page indexed for sure.

    If you are running a blog with one author (you) then have your author page set to "noindex" as that will create a duplicate page issue.

    I do suggest that you add an 'About the Author' sidebox to each blog post with your photo, title and a brief description of yourself. This will add the personal touch to your posts.

    If you are the only author, get rid of the author links. They are useless. Noindex is a waste of time. You can use your name as the author, but don't make it a link. Nothing but a waste of an internal link.
