Hello fellow warriors,
I'm making a new property site, and have a question.
the properties texts are not that long, only a small description, the specs, and the facilities.
I'm concerned about panda, because the texts are not 300 words long and it would be difficult to make more.
this sit might have a lot of properties in the futur.

Will you stop the robots.txt to crawl those page, or will you keep them?

also if there is an alternative to prevent the big bear I would be glad to know it.

Thanks a lot,

Panda does not count how many words of text you have you a page.

Zillow seems to be doing fine and they probably have no more than 300-400 words on most of their pages.

Most sources I've read recommend at least 500 words, but there is no need to stop robots.txt from crawling. It won't be a problem unless it is duplicate content or spammy.

as said by all above that it is very true that it totally depends on your content, panda algo's not design to count words, but they designed to get the ratio of keywords, duplicity, spammy nature of work.
so not need to stop crawler in this case

Let Google crawl them; nothing will happen to your site. You should be more concerned about the quality of your backlinks since that's what makes most sites fall out of favour with Google.
