Intervals for posting content

I have recently launched a blog site. Before I launched I created a collection of articles based on the keywords I'd like rank for. Is it better, to post all of the articles now or post a few a week to show there is fresh content? And by better, I mean which will help to rank faster.

Thanks!

I would recommend you to publish one to two blog posts a day. And spend the rest of the day marketing those blog posts and your blog.

It is a smart idea to have written blog posts in advance. That is actually something I'm doing more right now. Having blog posts ready for the week helps me stay more focused on the traffic generation part - which is a VERY important part of the entire blogging process.

    I hope this helps!

    I wish you the best!

    Cheers!

Thanks for the reply. How should I market the blog posts?

There are no set rules on what is the best practice when starting a blog, its very much up to each individual to adopt their own writing style. A new blog is best started with placing some interesting posts to kick start your content writing, say per perhaps half a dozen article and then add posts every day.

You are going to be doing a lot of writing, so I hope you have done your research well and know everything there is to know about what it is your blog is about or what it is you are selling. By the end of the first year your blog will be looking good with around 300-400 entries, at this stage maybe you will reduce the frequency with which you post to your blog, hopefully, not because you have run out of material, but because people are responding and the blog is successful and you need to spend more time developing more income or starting other projects.

A mistake some people fall into is to place short sales posts in their blog and these can actually become annoying. You need to provide the answers to what customers are looking for, so that they will interact you and wish to earn more by subscribing to your information.

Publish a few now to kickstart the blog and schedule the rest to be published later.

I suggest you not to post all the article now. You can post 2-3 articles per day. It will hold the attention of visitors. You can post more than 3 articles in day but all of them need to be unique and informative.

Blogging is very powerful. Like David Ogden said above; there really is not set rule for blogging. Just start somewhere and remember that quality content is better than quantity. Just be original with your post and most importantly, promote yourself. Write about you and your niche. Prospects are attracted to people and not so much what you are promoting. The key is build relationships with your readers and have them identify with your content so a bond is formed. I always like to start by writing one article a week adding to it each day before I post it. This creates a 1500+ word article with quality content within my niche that gets posted weekly. I like to work slow to make sure the articles I write are appropriate to be posted. Use EditPlus or another HTML text editor to write your articles on. Stay away from Word docs as they can create bad code in your blog.
