For my specific city, Google keyword tool tells me the key phrase "hoop earrings for women" gets searched 30 times per month. When I search this phrase myself, I see that only one page turns up with a title that is close to this, it reads: "hoop earrings woman". This result is at the top of the SERP, and the other 9 results are what appear to be authority domains. My question is, if I make one page on my non-authority site targeting "hoop earrings FOR women", will I rank number one?
Note: my tactics will include putting the key phrase in the URL file name, in the H1 tag, in the first paragraph of the content, and in the image alt tag.
