So I am reading something about ranking and this person is extolling the virtues of Yoast. I have always used All in One on my blogs. I would like to hear from the folks, what is your opinion on these two?

This guy is talking about duplicate pages being eliminated, referring to tag pages or something. Not sure I understand him on this. Which seems important as this fellow writes. But I have no idea if he is right, so I thought I would ask.

Hope this is in the right forum. I put it here due to this is about SEO and ranking.

I read an in-depth review recently that made me switch to Yoast:

Seems like Yoast wins in most cases.

Yup, I agree, Yoast is the better option. You can test them out if you want, both are good, but personally I prefer Yoast.

Yoast is good but I always get sitemap errors in webmasters.

If you are regularly getting sitemap errors try using Google Sitemap XML Plugin. And remember there are 2 with same names. Try using this plugin and register yourself to webmaster and post your sitemap link there.
You'll not see this same error again.

And if i talk about this post than i would also like to go along with Yoast.

I have the experience of using both All in one and All in one SEO plugin for my different sites. Here is my results:
Yoast is very flexible as a SEO plugin but the problem that i have found that it shows wrong information regarding google analytics and google sitemap. Everytime i saw the result of Yoast, it showed that i have the analytics on and the indexing is going well but when i searched on google i have found that none of my website has been indexed in google. That was awkward.
On another note, as you use Yoast, you will not be able to use any tags on your posts as according the Google, using tags is spamming. That was a problem for me as i was using a slider on my wordpress website which showed posts that has a the tag "feature" in it.
The good thing about using yoast, is that you can easily use a custom url for a post which you can't do with all in one SEO. For example you are using a very long title and want to create a custom short url for a post, you can easily do it with Yoast but can't with All in one.
Another problem that i have found with Yoast is that it automatically includes the title of your website at the end of each blog's meta title, which all in one doesn't. and Yoast provides you more options to advanced SEOs who are interested to chage the index and no follow functions of each post or the page as a whole.
Yoast also shows you the number of characters that you are using on meta titles and meta description which all in one fails to provide. So, if you are a newbie and interested to do good on-page seo for your site, yoast would be way better then All in One SEO.
I prefer using Yoast over all in one SEO as i have found that it provides me more flexibility to do the perfect on-page seo for my websites.

Yoast gives me error message about my sitemap too and the reason is simple, it is NOT a good sitemap plugin. It is incompatible with Google XML Sitemaps plugin, since both create XML sitemaps and Yoast wants everyone to use his plugin, rather than use THE best XML sitemap plugin on the internet....

And if you get any errors or issues with your sitemap, don't bother asking for support, there is none....

Is there any way to turn off the Yoast sitemap? Looks like a clear win for Yoast, so I will go with it I think.

Yoast would have been the best plugin if not for the Google XML Sitemaps plugin incompatibility. It has some great features not there in the All-in-One.
For this one reason I will go with All-In-One.
