I tell you what, google is getting more and more into presenting data these days. Even a search like this comes up pre-formatted

    It's no big deal because Google SERP schema is always incomplete data.

    Traffic is still clicking organic SERP links.

    Your example keyword [natural mold removal] gave naturallivingideas [dot] com 2 hyperlinks on the first page of the SERPs. That wouldn't have happened without schema.

    That schema box ranks above the #1 organic link/page with a clickable link to the source (naturallivingideas [dot] com).

    The #1 position CTR has been dropping constantly over the past few years and it's not going to change anytime soon.

    Why would it? Google doesn't owe anyone anything.

    They're a business just like all the others.

      Totally agree. In this case it isn't so damaging to the number one ranked page because as you guys point out the info is incomplete but I imagine it must give people who rank top ten lists etc a bit of a headache seeing their CTR drop on certain keywords.

    Yes, Nowadays Google search will be pre-formatted. All keywords must be highly searchable which have high density. Search engines uses its own algorithm to find keywords.
