Is It Required To Submit Our Site To All major search engines ?

Not a major.! But You need to submit in Google, Bing and yahoo.!! and when You receive a backlink then all the Search engines will automatically index your site. So it's not important to Submit in all search engines.
or you can only submit your site in Google

Bing is yahoo. And the others would not qualify to be "major," so what's the point?

This whole thread is as pointless as submitting your sites to major search engines.
There is no need. Not to mention that there are only one and a half major ones anyway

Submitting to the search engines was something that used to happen back in the 1990's but all the major search engines are perfectly capable of finding and crawling your site without any need to submit it.

Bing just takes longer to crawl round the web than Google but it will get there in the end.

Its not so mandatory to submit in all search engine but should be in google search engine because it covers around 68% of world population and easy manageable tools.

I think it is always a good idea to submit your website to all major search engines for better exposure and this can also get few great backlinks. So, I would suggest you to submit it to all major search engines and directories.

It has not been necessary to submit a site to search engines since at least last century. For someone who sells SEO services via their signature, you certainly looking incompetent making that claim....and judging by the list of clients you claims used your services, you look more like a fraud.

Google has 67% of the traffic in US, 82% worldwide.

There's no room in 100% for another major search engine.

When Yahoo or Bing grabs a good chunk of business from Google, you can worry about major search engineS, till then, there's a major search engine.

not necessary. maybe only for newly made websites that just went online.

when the site is months old and have enough pages, search engines will index it once in a while. if they see that the site is good to them, they'll come more frequent.

there are different algorithm used in website analytics out there. you just can't depend on one but not others. just follow the search engines' guidelines, get backlinks, have social media presence, optimize for keywords, do some SEO, create a sitemap(s) and submit them, use RSS/ATOM, etc..

one another thing, take a look at your robots.txt file. if you don't have one then create one. allow all 'good bots' and disallow all 'bad bots'.

At this day in age I wouldn't really call it a requirement anymore, as long as you do backlink building. Start building backlinks to your site and all of the spiders will find it. If you don't build any backlinks though, you'll want to do manual submissions!

No need to submit the site to Google, Yahoo, Bing search engines as they themselves crawls your site and start indexing. Just keep the site in your signature in relevant forums or comment on high reputed blogs.

Gaurav, I hope you would consider my word...
Well.. Search engine manual submission is not a requirement anymore.. Your Blog or website will automatically be indexed by all major search engines within few months ( for all major ones)....
But Two Points should be kept in mind for whether you should go for search engines submission or not...
1--- Automatic-Manual Submission will definitely index your site in a faster way for those SE'S.
2--- If you don't Submit.. Even then your blog will be index by them ... but it will take some more time...
