Does Comments have any effect on ONpage SEO?

I have observed on many results of keywords that i targeted have lot of comments. Does comments is one of the SEO factor ?

    No, it not effect in SEO... If it effect, you just need go to your website and create 100 fake comments on your posts

    I guess it may depend what script you're using. Comments on Wordpress do get put on the page, so they would contribute to the content/word count on that page. However, since most comments are extremely short (1-2 sentences) they may not do much unless you have at least a couple dozen of them.

    If you're asking whether leaving a comment on another site pointing back to yours will help your site's SEO, the answer is - the SEO benefits are only marginal (if at all). Don't waste your timing doing that.

    No, they don't. comment writing and posting is a process of off pafe SEO. If it affect on On page SEO, then anyone can complete the process of on page by posting comments.
