PPC campaigns & Clickbank

Hallo to all the forum members.
I do not know if this is the right place to post this question, but I recently started to build PPC campaigns and am learning the subject every day that goes by.
I started working with Clickbank about some interesting products.
the routine was usual: gathering several keywords (after using FreeKeyword tracker & Google's Keyword tool).
then I put on a good marketing ad with Benefits & teasing headline and set up some CPC's.
The campaign went ahead & started collecting clicks.
Now for starters: I was looking for my ad so I can see if it redirects me to the Selling page, but was unable to see it neither in Google nor Google Ad Preview.
Now I have no info about how many people visited my Clickbank product.
What is the best way to measure if my campaign is going the right way or the wrong one?
Second of all, what are your criterias for deciding to continue with a campaign?
