Why webmaster tool is not updating my links?

I would not worry about it. Link data in Webmaster tools is always months behind. It does not mean that Google does not know about your links.

I don't know whether it's aware of my links or not but they should update links frequently.

Why would you worry about Goole webmasters data? May be they haven't discovered any backlink data yet. There is no shortcut to it.

I would ask to see if you've added the same domain to Google webmaster tools for which you're building links

Let me clear my point. If you're building links for www.[dot]pnrstatusbuzz[dot]in then make you've added same site to GWT instead of example.com. Give attention to www. and no-www domain name.

Google is very slow at most things including ranking a website, providing you useful data. One of the hardest things when you are starting out is having patience because you are excited to see the results of your efforts. Hang in there and you'll start to see the links. If you want to get a more up to date picture of what is happening check on Majestic.com, they are pretty good about updating quicker than WMT.

Absolutely, I don't think that webmaster data for link updation is any way relevant from SEO point of view. I preferably use webmaster for looking onto the 404 errors, search queries and landing pages impressions.

I know Ahrefs is one of the best of checking backlinks. Free version shows just 5 links and paid version is too costly. The thing is that if webmaster tool starts updating the links frequently, we don't have look for any other means.

Yes that is the problem, Google is slowly and both services (ahrefs + majestics) is huge price...

But for example, i created one backlinks day 22 of this month, and the next day Majestic found this link... Is huge price but is worth

If you create small number of backlinks, you can try to check byself just put the full URL on google and check if is indexed...

Yeah, you right again but we build links in quantity and not in few numbers. That's why i am trying find any other way out.

Just use ahrefs or majestic SEO to check link status. It is more accurate, don't rely on webmasters tools.

GWT takes time to update, and honestly you can't do much about it either, rather use Google footprint or sites like Ahrefs to track your backlinks.

If you need to check your link status, you might want to try out ahrefs

Google webmaster tools is great and all, I use it too to be honest, but if you keep waiting for them to update your data... you'll grow a beard faster than that!

It's been this way for years. There is no benefit to Google to update the data more frequently, so don't expect it to happen.

You must check your website is perfectly passing out Google SEO Guidelines.

If your website is perfect than you must need to develop a sitemap and submit Google Webmaster tools. Also Verify your website in Google Webmaster tools.

The only time you ever want to check webmaster tools link data is if you have a link penalty, otherwise it's pointless. The data is always outdated, expired, or incredibly incomplete. Stick with the big boys like ahrefs for link data.
