    Generally squeeze pages are hard to rank. Your best bet is to add a decent volume of quality text content on your squeeze page and pump it up with quality backlinks and social signals.

    The downside of having alot of text on squeeze page is that you will have little less conversions.

    I wouldn't try to rank a squeeze page, I would rather rank a normal page and "pre-sell" them on opting in, then funnel to the opt-in page.

    Technically you can, but it would definitely be harder than normal 'corporate websites' or 'content pages'. (But then again, if your squeeze page looks like a legitimate site with content meant for people to read rather than just a call to action, then it's very possible to rank it well).

    Yes you can, but it may be a bit harder. If you build good links to it it will rank after a few months.
