Hi,

I have changed permalink structure of my site recently. And lost many of my backlinks and indexed pages on google.

Doesn't 301 redirection will help to retain my backlinks and Does google re-index my pages ?

and also need htaccess code to redirect all old structure posts to new one.

posted in programming section but didn't got a reply.

I know one code , but it should be written for each and every single page of my site.

I want a logical htaccess code that redirect old structure to new structure all at once.

Any one there to help ?

No.. It does not matter if you redirect your old url to new url. You are going in right path, make sure that each and every url of the site redirect to new url or else you will get a crawl error in Google webmaster tools.

I have heard of some htaccess code starts with redirectmatch , but not getting exact format. for /%postname%/ to /%postname.html

      Eg: Redirectmatch 301 XXXXXXX $2 http://sitename.com/XX
