How to find if my content is ok in google eyes?

Hello mates,

Recently I have started a MNS, The website is review website about a Clickbank product.
I have got a paper from a guy around the product, I am going to use all of it/ are some parts in my review page.
My question is, how I can find out if the article (the whole parts if I want to use them in my page) or part of it, is already there in the internet? I don't like to be punished by google due to duplicate content, So how I should act please?
What do you do in such situation?

Thank you.

I am not aware of any way to check if your paper is already posted on the web. You can try taking whole sentences from the article and putting it in the google search bar to see if you get any results that have the same content.

If you are that concerned, consider revising parts of the article by changing some of the words, sentences and/or paragraphs. You can come up with different words and sentences that convey the same idea. This way you are sure to have original content.

      Thank you for the reply...

Yes I guess it would be a good idea to search part of the writing in google to see what it comes up...

So are you thinking that changing some words and sentences/paragraphs makes it a unique article in the Google eyes? Sorry but I am not a seo man so I never found out if this way is enough to make the writing so unique to rank in google or not?

Your creating unnecessary competition using default content from a vendor.

Now your up against other affiliates + Supplemental SERPs.

Just paste your article in the box here - Plagiarism Checker. It will show whether it is unique article or not.

When it comes to Google ranking, Is the result of that link really trustworthy?

No need for any tools Wiz, just copy a line of text into the search bar and
"put in in double quotes like this"

Duplicate text will show up in the three major search engines.

Supplemental index is the pile of stuff Google deems not worthy and leaves out of regular search results. You've seen the "click to see the rest of results" on some queries.

If your vendor has other partners or affiliates, it's likely that some of them are also using vendor-provided material verbatim. The vendor may also have that material on the web and if they're well-known in the niche you probably can't compete. That's who you're against, and that's why you should write your own content.

Some local e-commerce sites have built this into their every day operations. They're writing every product description to be funny, informative and sometimes even controversial. If your site has only a few clickbank products there's really no excuse to not write your own sales pitch.

Yes, Copyscape can work for you, but it's easier to just paste a string to Google and see if it finds something as Tim3 suggested.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

        What's your excuse?

I think what yukon is saying is that, if you borrow content like product descriptions from other affiliate sites then you run the risk of the following happening.

You run the risk, a high risk of ending up in the supplemental index, as Google does not want tons on sites with the exact same content, it will simply keep the most well ranked site, or handful of sites and bin the rest.

The only way to avoid that is to write your own content, not spinning the descriptions slightly or using the same descriptions as affiliates, apparently there are over 100,000 Amazon affiliates, yet less than 1% is ever seen, largely for this very reason.

The other option is to outrank the affiliate, depending on the niche and domain authority, backlinks of affiliates, this may or may not be possible.

I tell you the truth (: Google hates affiliate sites, it does not matter if you have one banner on it only or it`s a one big billboard. So sooner or later they will penalize you for this reason or another.

review website about a Clickbank product.
The most likely outcome is Google torches the site. Google is not a fan of affiliate sites and CB is at the top of the list as evidenced by the bans imposed for using CB affiliate links in Adwords.

        Thanks,?

I know that they banned CB links in Adwords, but I don't know what was the reason? They could make money out of it. so what was wrong?

          No, they couldn't.

A lot to do with the mismatch between the ad and the landing page. Which has to do with a lot of affiliate not understanding how people buy.

If a lot of people click on ads they think interesting and the ads take those lots of people to pages that have little to do, in those lots of people's eyes, with the reason they clicked on the ad, those lots of people are going to stop clicking on ads in Google. If they stop clicking on ads in Google, all ads, not just affiliate (they don't know an affiliate site from any other kind of site), Google doesn't make money.

Incorrect. Google isn't a fan of piss-poor quality sites. Create a good affiliate site, don't be redundant.

Most affiliate sites I've seen are redundant (offer nothing new/different from site(s) they promote and/or other affiliate sites.

Thank you for your input....they notice that it is an affiliate website?

How did you come to the conclusion that they don't like such web sites?

My Youtube video which has a redirected link to a CB product in its description is up since 2 last year without any problem!
So you mean that I am in risk if I put my time and energy on this?

What is your solution or your suggestion please?

      Thank you.

In my experience, it is the opposite. I have my affiliate sites in Blogger which is owned by google and I even have no. 1 ranking for certain keywords in my blogger affiliate sites. I love making money from them.

So what I can say is Google does NOT hate ALL affiliate sites.

I know of a couple of free plagiarism sites that are very useful and these are:

plagiarism checker & plagiarism detection ::: plagium
Plagiarism Checker - Free Online Software For Plagiarism Detection

Sometimes you can only use these a few times, so to get round this delete your cache using cCleaner or some other cleaner and it's good to go again.

You can easily hire a writer to do the rewriting of the content or research for the project. I would pay a few $ more instead of getting banned in Google search results.

Well, first thing to do is to check with copyscape or any other similar service, but this was already mentioned.
As an alternative, you can search google for chunks of text from your article, to see if there is already something exactly like it on the 'net or something similar (maybe the text you have is a cheap rewrite of something already published).

Well, there are countless affiliate marketers who are earning money from ClickBank, but they write unique product reviews, you also have to do the same thing, write reviews on ClickBank products and these reviews will be 100% unique to Google, you also have to do on-page and off-page SEO to outrank your competitors...... thats it........

When your keywords have high ranking, you will start to make sales... but the keywords you are targeted should be buyers' keywords to get maximum results.

The best way to find out if your content is great in Google's eyes is to ask yourself if your content will be good in the reader's eyes and whether they even want to read it.

Stop thinking about SEO purely as 'working for Google'. Treat it as 'working for your visitors'. Then Google will reward that.

I think you should check your contents with duplicate tool checker or check directly part by part on Google.
