Is there any SEO advantage to Chrome browser (or any)?

Is any browser superior to the other for SEO? Or do you find you prefer a certain browser for some other reason? I have favored Firefox for many years but I wonder if I should use Chrome more since Google owns it.

Your browser has nothing to do with SEO.

Although, I would never, ever use Chrome for any SEO activities that I did not want Google to know about.

If you're using Chrome then Goog gets TONS of data on your activities on it. Why the hell would you want that? I recommend Opera or Firefox.

You don't need to be logged in to the browser services. If you aren't it's probably just the same as any other browser. Of course it's easier to avoid this on a tool that doesn't try to offer this kind of a "service".

However, Google likes to store your login on any browser. Log in to any Google service, and they all know who you are.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

I have been using Chrome for the last few years and I never looked back. It has nothing to do with SEO though, that's a totally different matter.

I’ve been using Chrome for SEO and other work-related stuff and I don’t think that they have any affect to SEO. Well if you are doing some illegal activities that you don’t want Google to do anything with then I suggest you switch to Firefox or Opera but in my case I haven’t seen a single bad effect of using Chrome.

It does not matter what browser you use while browsing your site or while building it. Using a certain browser cannot really optimize your website.

    Hello,

A Browser do not play any role in SEO. The only factor that has to be considered is performance and the transparency in the browser.
I would suggest to use Mozilla Firefox.
