Why does google ignore about the duplicate content on this site?

Hi,

I noticed the site One Search Engine, 10 Million Tech Posts, 150 Million Tech Replies is appearing for most of the keywords without a problem although this site has a lots of duplicate content on its body. Almost 99% of the content is scraped from other sites.

I am wondering why isn't google angry about the duplicity of the content in this site and still has not ban it?

    Because that is not duplicate content. That is syndicated content. There is a difference.

    Alexa Rank in the US = 2701
    It means, that this website is userfull for people. Why should Google ban it?

        If it is tremendously popular, Google will not affect its ranking. If it is beginner's blog, Google will penalize it.

          Wow. That is a total lie. Google does not care about Alexa Ranking.

          Alexa Ranking is a highly unreliable guess at best.

          Alexa shows if the visitors have their toolbar installed. You're looking at stats about a browser plugin usage, and some wild guesses based on that very unreliable data.

          Google warns and penalizes popular sites all the time. It's just more likely that a full-time webmaster will take the warning seriously and steer the boat.

          It's very hard to understand your comment. But if you're saying that rewriting an article is "syndication", that's not correct at all.

          The site we're talking about is pulling the contents from several sites, and trying to present them as a set of related posts. They're not just displaying articles verbatim, but doing a whole lot more.

          There should be threads on WF about syndication.

        Then again, does this mean i can create a fantastic site syndicating content from all over the internet and still be spotlighted by google?

    I wants to give my answer with an example

    Think abc.com is first website and def.com is an another website, provide same services or same products. But way of writing content is different means syndicated content (Way of writing words). Then its not spam work on eye of of Google.
