Three Related Sites. Should I Link Them?

I have three websites, a directory of marketing companies, a marketing calculator tool and an entrepreneurial lifestyle site. Would it be recommended for me to post a link in each footer directed to the homepage of the other two using anchor text that describe them?

Marketing Companies Directory
Marketing Calculator Tool
Entrepreneurial Lifestyle

    You can post link of other two sites at footer but I want to suggest you to create a separate page as USEFUL RESOURCES and place these two links there along with some other links related with same business. It will be more natural way of promoting your own sites.

    if those sites have different ip adress + best part different hosting companys then yes you can link them together safe.

      That is silly. It does not matter if they have different ip addresses or hosting companies. They can all be on the same hosting account and still link them together.

          You are right. Silly was too soft of a word. It is F'n stupid to think that.

          If you are building a private network for the purpose of gaming the search engine, you want to put the network sites on different hosting accounts.

          If you are linking a few related properties together that you own and the linking makes sense, it does not matter what host they are on. They can all be on the same host. There is nothing nefarious going on there.

            This is my train of thought too. But how would Google be able to differentiate between link wheels that are full of SEO content with little natural content and a few websites that are related? I'm a little concerned because my sites are pretty new with little links coming from outside sources and even though the sites work together, I want to be sure I do not rub G the wrong way.

    Look at their footers. Almost identical. Many thousands of pages. These two sites rank high for many search terms.

    If you own both sites, and are not trying to hide anything, you can link the two together.

    Yes, you always want to link sites when you can. It's good for SEO and let's the stronger sites strengthen the weaker ones. If somebody likes one site they can try the other ones!

    I would put a link to the strongest site of the other two. If you are on different C Class IPs will be even stronger.
