Hello,

We all know about dofollow and nfollow.

My Question is,

1. Is there any benefit of getting nofollw back links.

2. Nofollow back links effect website ranking or not?
#backlinks #benefit #nofollow

    1. Not much. You don't need to avoid them, tho.

    2. No. But you already knew that.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Explain what? If you want to read basic stuff about nofollow I'd suggest trying Google.

The no follow backlinks will not help in terms of ranking. They are, however, useful in terms of traffic.
Take social media for example. Let's say Facebook, it's no follow, but once you set up your fan page and link back to your website, you will have a no-follow link that will send traffic. It won't help your rank better, but it's useful anyway.

We need to manage both do follow and no follow links in the ratio 6:4. If you make only do follow link. So it will be not beneficial for your website. So No Follow link has the importance to get the traffic and Domain Authority.

Where did you make up that horseshit from? Holy hell.

First of all, 6:4 is 3:2. Basic math.

Second, wtf? So 40% of our links should be nofollow? That is going to be pretty goddamned difficult considering that Google has stated only about 3-4% of the links they have crawled on the internet are nofollow.

    1. SEO wise, no there is no benefit. If someone tries to tell you that you need them to make your link profile look "natural", you should stop listening to anything else that person has to say. They obviously have done zero testing or research on this.

    2. I tried testing this in the past and could never see a noticeable ranking improvement. Of course, a webpage does not exist in a vacuum, so it is pretty difficult to test with any certainty. If there is a ranking benefit, it is minimal at best. If the major search engines are to be trusted at their word, there is no benefit.

Only if you get it from high traffic site, and get a ton of referral traffic who then gets to be more aware about your brand/website and search for it as well as talk about it on social media - which then improves SEO. It's an indirect effect.

    2. Nofollow back links effect website ranking or not?
Technically, according to Google, nofollow does not take into account link juice, but assuming these nofollow links all come from authority sites e.g. Wikipedia e.t.c., it would also clearly mean that your site has a certain level of authority, and it helps to boost your SEO. How exactly this happens, is a secret of Google but only when these nofollow links are diverse in nature and from relevant and authority websites do they work.

From the very beginning of my knowledge about online marketing and SEO, I have heard a lot from people like dofollow are much more beneficial than nofollow. But there with based on my experience I can bet that there is nothing wrong in having nofollow backlinks. I have seen that although nofollow links are not acceptable in terms of ranking but there is some essence from those as well. In terms of traffic they work like crazy. And today as Google looks out for natural backlinks, so a combination of both dofollow and nofollow has a a good impact on SEO or online marketing what ever you say.

Get a no follow link as part of your natural backlink profile. Just remember, your goal is to get visits first and the rankings later. If the no follow link can give you targeted traffic then take it. You'd be foolish to ignore it.

    Wishing you success.

Yes, if it gets you traffic. No, if it doesn't.

Don't worry about follow and no-follow. Worry about links that get you traffic, links from sites in the same industry.

Really, if a site links to yours and each month you get 100 visitors and 3 of them buy, month after month, but it's a no-follow link, will you hate it?

How about a do-follow link from a site in a language other than your sites that gets you not one visitor, let alone a highly interested visitor, do you love it?

It does not influence on ranks but they are very important part of the seo strategy, if your website is linked from dofollow sites only it may looks suspicious, so having some dose of nofollow backlinks is a wise plan.

The only benefit to create no follow backlinks is to increase traffic for your website. It doesn't effect the website ranking. But, don't avoid them as they are useful in driving traffic.
