If Google Finds Your PBN, You're Done

This thought occurred to me, as I have been reading lots of tips on how to properly set up a PBN, specifically on how you need to make the PBN sites appear natural, with premium themes, and well-written content, and all the bells and whistles: if a Google manual reviewer comes across your PBN sites, none of that matters. You're done.

You could have the prettiest theme and great content, but ANY Google manual reviewer will be able to spot a PBN site in an instant. All they have to do is check the OBLs. If there's even ONE shady OBL out to an Amazon niche site or whatever money site, then it's over.

So I can't say I agree with all the advice to spend the time, money, and effort trying to make your PBN look natural. The idea is to never have a manual reviewer come across it in the first place. Because once they do, there's really nothing you can do to trick them.

Then you need to make your money sites look better too. I would not waste the time building a PBN for a crappy Amazon niche site.

Exactly why I never waste my time on building PBNs. It's kind of risky.

Being a blogger, I have a good amount of traffic each day from social networks and organic traffic from Google and Bing.

I can't risk my current traffic by building PBNs.

It depends on the overall quality of everything. I think the term PBN gets thrown around way too often too. There's nothing unusual or wrong about an online entrepreneur having several web properties and it makes sense for him to link some of the related niches together. This is how the interweb works and google is well aware of that and I am sure doesn't have a problem with it.

But yeah I'm talking here about creating proper sites, all of them, which are making money in their own right and have regular content on them.

IMO a lot of folks go about network sites wrong (long term).

Build all your sites to serve a purpose, so they stand on their own as far as traffic. There's nothing wrong with network sites & there's nothing wrong with making conversions on network sites.

I know, a few guys will whine: I can't build all that content, it's too much work. [meh]

If your network sites don't rank for any keywords, even easier longtails, your network sucks.

This is essentially creating 1-10 additional authority sites just to rank 1 niche-authority site (money site). The amount of time this would take would be immense.

The only way I see this being worth all that time is if you have only a few authority money sites that are going to earn you a full time living on their own, or you do seo all in one niche/area -- like local seo for all plumbers, construction, etc.

I hunt down a lot of random keywords and create small 1 page sites and such, else I would probably do this.

It all depends on your budget and goals. PBN is undoubtedly one of the most powerful tools to achieve high results in Google. If the business you earn enough worth to build this type of network. But this should be only part of your overall marketing strategy.

I always tell people they're fighting an uphill battle trying to get Google to give them their traffic.

It's like Jailbreaking an iPhone - you're going to keep having to fight, because no matter what you try they're going to plug the holes, and you have to just keep fighting with it.

These days, there's no replacement for quality, building high quality backlinks and NW contacts through high quality content that people want to share, then the Google rankings come naturally.

Majority of the networks i see today are pre-built to attract Google's hammer rather than being setup for legitimate aims. I guess that's why the owners have cause to worry.

I'm afraid no one is going to hand out exactly what he does just to avoid saturation.

If you know how to build PBN, it's the sweetest BL strategy to ever ride on.
And the good part is, when you get on top of the search engine other links come
in naturally because you are now visible to many.

Outbound links are the reason that you even started PBN. A PBN is a valuable tool for your niche site.
