Pages getting deindexed in GWT

Since last week, I am noticing Google De-Indexing pages of my website. I don't have any indexing issues (ALL pages tagged with "index, follow", "rel=canonical" , Status resulted 200 Ok, even done robots.txt test in GWT, mentioned pages showing as allowed and "no duplicate content issues". Still I am clueless as to why pages are getting deindexed.

Till early last week, it was showing 275 pages submitted and 274 pages indexed. From last 5-6 days, the number of pages indexed started decreasing. From 274 to 266 to 238, now it has come down to 225.

In fact, a 'site:' at Google shows all the results (about 275 pages) but the problem is that my Webmasters Tools says it has 275 submitted pages and only 225 indexed and I have no clue which pages have been deindexed.

I have 3 sites in my WMT and in all sites few pages are getting deindexed and they all started at the same time.

I have been running this website for last 4-5 years and never has any issue with it. Don't know where I am going wrong.

Please advice.

If a search for site:'yourdomain.com' shows the correct number of indexed URLs then i wouldn't worry for now, GWMT is notorious for blips and data outages.

I hope so. But the thing is that I saw a big traffic drop since last week which is making me worried.

If google is de-indexing URLs check there are no duplicate content issues. Also make sure the pages are machine readable i.e. HTML

After that make sure there are links to the pages, even if they are internal links it will help.

hmmmm...there are few pages on my site that have no links even internal links...I will link them and see if that helps.

    Thank you for your help.

No, it doesn't. Stop trying to self-promote on threads that have nothing to do with your article.

And even if it did, bounce rate isn't as simple as that. I just gave you a bounce by clicking through to that one page you linked.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

Pages getting indexed in Google webmaster tools is due to fact that the links which has been build up would be of low quality..

    Hi there

Have you tried searching in google "site:ttp://www.yoursite.com" ? That will give you all indexed pages of your site. It's more reliable than Webmaster Tools.
