According to Majestic your site has 0 backlinks. That might not be accurate, but it's probably a good ballpark figure. You need to start building backlinks.

It doesn't matter if the domain is 6 years old if other sites are not linking to it.

Site does not load very fast. Perhaps it might be me, living in UK, not England.

Start building links slowly. You can do them yourself or you can find some here.

Are you trying to rank for "home security palm beach"? It might not be worth the effort since it only gets 10 searches a month. On the flip side the keyword competition is extremely low

Google doesn't always take what is typed in Yoast plugin. Info here

I checked your site in siteliner, it's a free tool for checking dup content. I found that there are several pages with overlapping content created by the excerpts. The ADT Home Security Plans page has similar content on the homepage, etc. I'd recommend you configure WordPress SEO plugin to fix the dup issue for your site to rank on the serps.

Thanks to all of you that replied.
- I built the site in October 2014 about 6 month ago
- I built it from scratch but i bought this domain in 2009 just never built till 10/2014
- I understand what you are saying about content and back links BUT when you search for your domain name EXACTLY it should come up at least on first page.
am i right?
that's why i did not bother to do anything more on that site until i figure out whats wrong ?

If you search for your domain name ("homesecuritypalmbeach.com") it's the first link. That seems to work just fine. (Incognito window, connection from Finland.)

If you're trying to find about home security on Palm Beach you need to compete against all the results that fit the search. Your exact match domain doesn't help as much as it did couple of years ago, and even then it wasn't a guarantee of a first page position.

And you do seem to have a lot of competition. Time to start building links.

No. It's completely normal and business as usual. You've got no backlinks. Google doesn't see your site as something that's popular enough to have in the first 100 results.

This is the third time I'm saying the exact same thing. What do you want, a BS answer telling you that everything's fine if you just push a button somewhere?

So-called Exact Match Domain names were a popular SEO gimmick some time ago. Google diminished the value that you get from such a domain name. It was never enough to rank you, but today EMD alone doesn't do anything in the kind of competition you're facing.

Because your meta description is spammy, and because they're Google. This is the kind of mystery that is well documented, comes up every week on a forum such as this, and shows up if you type the question in Google search.

They see themselves as the gatekeepers of the internet, and use whatever text they want for titles and descriptions in their search engine. However, in this particular case they are clearly doing you a favour. Meta description is a description of the page contents, not a list of spam keywords.

You've got over two mb of images. It loads incredibly slow. Pretty sure that is playing a role irrespective of any seo you may have done. Speed it up first and foremost.
