    Yes, Having a good content will get you traffic but there are other several factors to be considered. The update is all about User Friendliness. Your Website should be Mobile Friendly..And use of Social Media effectively will help to drive traffic to your website...

    Always use good content, but one has to rely on traffic to it. You can blog hop, join communities on FB or G+ and read other website/blogs out there, comment and share on social media. The law of reciprocity is so effective. As you look for others to come and comment, those back links will get you the traffic you need.

    It's not enough, if you're looking to build traffic.
    You should try social bookmarking and promote yourself on social media as well, in addition to writing good content. You will have a lot more success this way..
