How do I get traffic/links from Yahoo Answers?

I have read threads that suggest posting replies to questions on Yahoo can be a way to get backlinks. I've just had a look at the site, but I don't see anybody linking to anywhere in the body of their answer, nor having any links in their profiles. How can Yahoo Answers help me?

(Oh, and before anybody else gets witty, I've already considered posting this question on Yahoo Answers itself )

    yahoo answers utilises the no follow attribute so its not as good for backlinks

      Yes these links are "no follow " but you can get good traffic from yahoo Answers.

    I've been really happy with my traffic from Yahoo answers but I know if I did more with it, I'd have even better results. My best advice is to try it - actually put some concentrated effort into providing well-thought out, decent answers. Answer a few questions for fun, too. You get back what you put in.

    Like everything you do to get traffic, post your answer correct dont just look to post your bank link on there, people dont report you for spam.

    Affiliate marketers use this method to get direct traffic. (this is just one of their methods).

    They may have two Yahoo accounts - one asking the question (what is the best place to buy cookies from). Then the other yahoo account giving the answer and giving a link to the website. Then they would go back to the first account - saying that the second account was the best answer.

    Not that ethical if you ask me.

    Yahoo answer is nofollow but its give good amount of traffic to our site.

    If we be active there and submit quality answer we receive good traffic to our site.
