Some confusion about articles, anchor text and link wheels

I've read through a lot of the big article marketing threads and it may have just confused me more that it has given me knowledge. Here's my confusion. Feel free to make repeat answers or reply to agree or argue an opinion!

I have a new site that is aimed at a simple product, not any one specific brand but in general. The product is very cheap so i will rely on adsense and chitika to make money from the site.

If i want to get to the top of google for XYZ then i will need good backlinks from authority sites like EZA with anchor text links. Here will be my first question:

1. What should the title of my article be? Using my keyword in the title will most definitely get the EZA article ranked higher than my site for my keyword. The article won't be about drawing a person in to my site for a big sell! The product i'm targeting is simple and cheap, it seems bogus to go into so much information about it.

I guess what i'm wanting is to be able to have articles with high PR but not interfere with my site's main keyword on google. Second question:

2. So, link wheels. After i make my articles, lenses, ect. I will want to start link wheels around them. What keywords to i use? Off keywords that won't interfere with my site's keywords on google? Or am i going about this all wrong?

    1. Your article will rank before your site, but since you are going to have many articles about your site the site will ultimately outrank the articles, but a bit later.
    2. Read lemonarian's link wheel guide. He's the guy that invented it. lemonarian.com/the-linkwheel-faq - in general, one keyword per link wheel, and it is the keyword you are targetting for your site.
