As we all know Google can use different page titles depending on what keyword you use to bring the page up in the SERPS. I've got one page that it's using the title tag and another one that is using the H1 heading combined with the site name. Anyone know what tactics one might use to try to force to Google to use the title tag more when displaying the title in the search?

If you updated the title and still seeing this in the SERPs, i'll suggest you to update the re-submit the sitemap. And be patient. Google will update the title in serps.

You need to narrow down where the SERP title is coming from so it can be corrected.

I've seen Google SERP titles swap back & forth between regular page titles & comment titles found on xml files.
