yahoo site explorer rejecting blogspot blogs?

Has any one else noticed this?

Every blogspot blog I listed in Yahoo site explorer suddenly is not 'verified' anymore.

New blogspot blogs are being rejected as "not verified".

I know Google did something with analytics wherein the code provided by Google isn't accepted by Google (the left hand Google engineer doesn't know what the right handed Google engineer did)

to get a blogspot blog listed in Google Webmaster Tools (big G's version of Y site explorer) the verification code provided by Blogger is not accepted by G Webmaster tools.

I'm not a coder, can't write php or xml but you now have to add a space and a trailing slash before the close tag or G webmaster tools rejects the code as 'unable to parse'

I've had to add that slash to get yahoo to accept a blogger but now that doesn't work either.

Food for thought.. did Yahoo some how 'break the code' so Google blogs are not 'eligible' for yahoo site explorer?

or have I seen too many conspiracy movies...
