Which traffic method you are applying. You can target visitors in two ways

First is search engines but it depends on your your keywords on search engines.

Second is marketing whether it will be forum posting, guest posting, social sites ad posting etc.

Yes. One of the best ways is to get subscribers to your website.. But I assume his website is new and he would like to understand HOW to get this traffic (and eventually get some subscribers!)
Why don't you start with UNIQUE content and also build some quality backlinks, think about where you can place your website!

It's a nice and clean site, and the content seems to be fairly good. Some context: on average when you check a link that's posted to WF you get an awful-looking site full of gibberish. So in this case it's the basic building blocks seem to be there.

Unfortunately you've chosen a very hard niche. There's a bunch of well-known WordPress blogs that have been running for years, and they've covered topics that are very close to what you write about. There's competition from obsessive geeks (an expression I use with love and respect), and companies that work in the same space. Having a unique set of words doesn't really mean that much if a bunch of authoritative blogs have content that's very similar.

The backlink profile isn't very good, and that's something I'd look into. They're mostly low quality, and seem to be from blogs, directories and forums. Only a handful are "followed". Unfortunately this is the hardest part of SEO, and there are no easy answers. However, there are a lot of threads about this.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Should have a static home page, not blog posts...

      Pick less competitive keywords

search engine optimization and seo, not good

Are you using analytic and webmaster tools? How about adding content on a steady basis? Last question! Are you doing plenty of off-page seo? Build those bridges.

I know this is the SEO section but I must say from large quantities of personal experience that buying traffic is far easier and more profitable. (If your website is good of course.)

I can literally buy ads and have traffic flooding my site the same day and conversions popping left and right. I also highly recommend looking into obtaining traffic from offline sources. My personal favorites are trade publications and purl postcards. The traffic is extremely high quality and converts exceptionally well.

PM me if you need any further advice.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you everyone for very welcoming insights. My chosen niche is really hard and seems like I am competing with WP developers, WP themes providers and very established WP blogs.

Sometimes I really don't know where to start. I just wanted vent out my frustrations with the current results of my site. I know I should not be discouraged but I can't help it sometimes.

When we say unique content, is a challenge since most of the competitors have it covered already.

I understand your effort in trying to gain more traffic and clicks to your website. But there's one thing though that I strongly agree, and that is your niche. Your website looks clean and promising, but this is some kind of a blog with a personal interest in SEO and internet marketing

Have you tried engaging your content with targeted social media fan pages and groups? From there, you can start gaining a lot of traffic from the targeted audience. Sounds like you need to learn more about SEO, especially in terms of getting a lot of clicks from Google search.

It's important that you should study and do your homework first before executing your plan for the website itself. Try to invest in SEO training courses that can give you lots of organic Google search and clicks to your website, after all you are doing business here. Businessmen invests to educate themselves, while others invested their money for entertainment. Hope this helps you my friend. Good luck!

  • if you have a very competitive niche, you might as well try to re-analyze your keywords and instead of targeting high competition keywords, try to target as many medium-low competition keywords. Then it'll be best if you may also try to do paid ads (for those high competition keywords) and check if this works for you.

Do you optimize for long-tail keywords? In my opinion, your keywords are really hard to rank.

Add more content based on long-tail keywords and build backlinks to them.

If you need rush traffic, try paid traffic like google adword for facebook ad.

I think your main problem is the competition. Your niche is a good one, but it's yet another one of those niches people say are "saturated".
I'd suggest you focus more on building backlinks, optimizing for long tail keywords (use a keyword planner), use social media as well to get yourself noticed, and last, but not least, add high quality content on a regular basis! Content is what will separate you from the crowd in the end.

    Hello,

I visited your site. It is nice. It seems that you are focused on tools for bloggers. I think you might as well concentrate on blogging tips that will help other bloggers.

It may take time to get your site appear in the SERPs with your keywords and that is normal.

Keep posting valuable content while you make backlinks to your site from other related sites though blog commenting.

Share your posts in twitter. It can give you traffic boost too.

Great website and content. It's time to work on to reach your readers. Add an opt-in form to begin to collect subscribers and start engaging them. The above login option will not convert since it's not prominent.

It's your responsibility to direct them to easily access your site.

Make it easier for your readers to engage with you. Competitive niches grow the demand of viral engagement.

Do a bit of branding on your website. Your domain is screaming for it.

Hint: Concentrate more on your off page marketing strategies.
