The affect of Google plus on YouTube ranking

Hi there,

I have a YouTube video with several videos in it... I am wondering if I make the google plus account which is connected to it popular by adding say pictures and getting more friends, is this effective on ranking my YT videos too?

P.S, How G+ can help to rank a video or a website in any case (all possible ways please)?

    Everything that Google Do, is connect with they search engines ranking (That is just the trust)
    (Youtube, Blogger and Google Plus)

    If you see video about people doing prank and stuff like that, they share their video in Google Plus (For Example this pranker that is call Roman Atwood) he share all his video on Google Plus and the more people click in the Plus One, his video get more ranking in the search feature on YouTube. So is a good idea that you create a account with Google Plus, invite also that people like you video and share (The more likes and share that you get, the more ranking and popular you video going to get)

    (Also when people leave comments in your video, if they click the option share in google plus, that is another exposure for you)

      That doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Google+ (even though it's tied to YouTube as you pointed out). YouTube tracks engagement, and both video loads and viewing time per session are part of this system. Just embedding the video on a popular-ish site that people use should increase the visibility.

      No. There's no such thing as "trust" that these services "push" whatever that's even supposed to mean. Where do you even pull this stuff?

      Sure, you can use social media as "social proof", but in that case you're just flaunting your popularity as a marketing ploy.

    Social signals are increasingly important as they push some more Trust to your site. Aside from Google+, FB, Twitter, building LinkedIn Account, YouTube Account, Pinterest etc and linking back to your main site can help, too.

    I don't think google+ will affect your rankings. It's a good idea to share them on social media though, G+ included! It has nothing to do with trust, but with visibility and it helps you reach as many people as possible.
