WEBMASTER crawl error

Here is what I get in the explanation:

Google couldn't access your site because your DNS server did not recognize your hostname (such as Example Domain).

What does that mean exactly??

    Mind sharing more details as it usually happens (temporarily) when crawlers are unable to access your site when you changed your hosting company or updated your DNS server.
