Link building the right way please tell me

I'm a complete failutre when it comes to backlinks I feel this is the weakest part in all my sites.

Can anyone tell me the best way of getting quality backlinks without paying for them , without using a link builder program or other waste app

I need a step by step guide and help would be greatly appreciated

    Well, if your site is in the gambling niche I don't know what to tell you. If it isn't, you can make guest posts and post them on quality sites. This can get you quality backlinks without having to pay for them. However, I guess you do have to pay with your time, but you'll probably never get 'quality' backlinks without spending either money or time.

    For guest posting just do a google search for the 1,000,000 different guides about it.

    Along side with guest posting you can also look for blogs related to your niche to drop comments on those ones that allow you to add your website link and the link must be dofollow link

    Many previous comments are correct, Moz.com is by far the best source to learn about SEO and back-linking. Although I believe that short-term back-linking strategies no longer work and building a true online presence with a lot of content for your own blog and guest posting is the way to rank high nowadays.
