hi,
i own a website which provide lsit of expired domain names, based on some criteria, after reading a lot about .edu and .gov links, i figured out my own method to make such backlinks, as i am doing it manually and approval is always not possible, still i am able to make around 5-7 links placement daily on .edu sites, my traffic is started to increase now, i dont know its due to content or link building, so my question is what should be the next step for me.
should i continue spamming .edu sites or what.

PS: i never ping my backlin to google to avoid flagging in google system, i am trying to keep it as natural as it can.

Whoever told you that .edu links were important or contain special ranking powers is a moron. Stop. You are wasting your time.

That's a good way to annoy site owners for no particular reason.

According to me they're worthless waste of time. But so is everything else on your list.

Do you really think that some institution or government agency would have a "followed" link on some page that really matters? Of course they won't.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

They're just links as every other form of backlink out there. While the sites may be more authoritative (because the institutions and agencies behind them are in real life too), your links are probably nofollow and probably on a page that doesn't have any real authority. Google gives as much value to those as any other low-value link.

This concept is really simple. What part of it do you not understand?

You should listen to these two if you never want to rank for anything worthwhile, ever. I hate that people spread these kind of lies.

If an educational institution made the decision on their own to link to you, yeah that would probably be a pretty valuable link. The kind of links you are creating yourself are worthless.

That is very good you are getting links from .edu and .gov but don't make only that links otherwise Google will easily caught you in spamming, try to build some other links also with related niche.
