Hi,

A few days ago I have added Adsense to my new blog to make some money, the code is working and everything seem ok, but there is a problem.

I can see the number of impressions on https://www.google.com/adsense, but the clicks are always 0. I have asked my girlfriend to click an ads just to test if the clicks are counted or not, but the counter is still 0.

Anyone know why? Does the Adsense report need some time to update? I'm not sure whether it's real time updated or not.

  • You're going to get banned before you see a cent if you keep telling people to click your ads. They can figure all that stuff out. AdSense takes a lot of patience and a lot of traffic before you start seeing any spendable cash off it.

I have just told my girlfriend to click ONCE to see if the clicks are counted or not... I have never told to anyone else to click.

All I wanted to know is: is Adsense updated in real-time or not?

EDIT: her click is now counted. There was a delay. Thanks.

Poglia, I would seriously suggest not to try this stunt of telling other people to click on your ads. Having said that, You have not mentioned anything about the number of impressions on your webpage. Also, where exactly are your adsense ads placed on your site, I mean above the fold, side bar(Left or right) etc?

Its difficult to make money from adsense if you're just a newbie to all this since it take a little bit of tracking and tweaking before you can build it into anything substantial
