Dip in organic traffic after changing to HTTPS

Our website has suffered a large dip in organic traffic over the last three months, coinciding with the changeover we made from HTTP to HTTPS.

From a technical and SEO point of view we can't see that there's anything we've done wrong or overlooked.

Has anyone else experienced this?

And if so, how did you go about solving this issue?

I'd check that the SSL certs and encrypted connections work across browsers and without any complications. It's possible that some of the older browsers don't work properly with some cert bundles. Also, check the site speed.

It's also possible that the drop isn't related to HTTPS connections.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Site speed is roughly on average 4.5 seconds.

On the Qualys SSL Labs test we got an overall ranking of C.

      Problems are that:

*the server does not support Forward Secrecy with the reference browsers

*the Certificate uses a weak signautre (SHA-1)

*the server supports only older protocols, but not the current best TLS 1.2.

Are any of those issues likely to be impacting on the dip in organic traffic?
