So we use seo yoast and all in one seo plugins for wordpress websites for SEO

So what about those NON wordpress websites; how can we apply seo tactics in that (eg ecommerce website) made purely from html and not even php??

Since you are not using keywords for an ecommerce site for example since there is no articles in there, so how do you optimize such sites....beginner question thanks

Currently I am working for an eCommerce website. I have been working for it since last 4 months. It has 150 keywords. The site don't have keywords on the site, But I have created blog for that site in Wordpress and link it with the main site. I have used all the keywords in that blog.

You said that without keyword how can we optimize? You can add keywords in meta tags, meta descriptions, Alt tags. Alt tag is very important for a site optimization.

At present I have pulled up 50 keywords in top 10 and 10 keywords in top 3.

Take a fresh WP install, and see what's in the header. Then install one of those plugins, and see what it actually does. The change wasn't that big, was it? Those plugins are basically just changing a few lines of HTML, and giving you a nice interface to manipulate title tags and meta description.

Of course you can do this same stuff on any site. Just edit contents, title tags, headings, and meta descriptions.

Of course you are. Or at least you should be. Any of the product names and categories should be a keyword for you, and not just something random. The product descriptions should be written with SEO in mind. They work exactly like any other piece of content.

Some e-commerce sites even employ this as their central tactic. They write long stories about the most mundane products.

If you're talking about keyword lists, that's something you should just stop using.

Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
