I thought, I was a champion. I wrote an article on my blog. And then, the article got number one.

I targeted long tail keyword. My friend's advise, very easy to target that keyword.

But, the disaster came to me on the fifth day. I checked my article on Google. And I can not find it there.

What? What is my fault, Google? Why is my article being treated like that?

Please, help me. How to be real champion in Google?

Thanks

Personalized results would be the most obvious thing to check. If you were logged in to Google's account they may have shown you the article you wanted to see.

It's also possible that a new article gets a short boost in SERPs.

    What's your position now?

Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

I don't know. Maybe my article in lowest rank. I can't find it.

May be your article does not contain quality content.

New pages tend to show up high in search results for a short time after they are first discovered, one guy I know who claimed to be an ex Google search engine programmer, explained that all new items are given the relevance value of O, which of course comes before all numbers, until actual ratings are assigned. Not sure how accurate that statement is, or if it is still up to date, but the overall theory seems to make some sense.

Since it is a new article, you might have got an initial boost in ranking with Google serp. This usually happens.

Care to explain how did you "target " this long tail keyword?

First, I made an article. And then, made long title. Example, "I Love You" That's short title. "I Love You So Much, My Flower" that's long title.

Posted on my blog. And, I made sitemap on Google Webmaster Tools.

And, I got number one in the next day

You probably were never ranked that high. You were likely just seeing personalized search results.
