Hey guys hows it going?

I have some revenue that I want to use to reinvest in my business. I'm taking the SEO route and I would like to see if any of you guys or gals out there who are actually using exp domains to help increase your rankings can give me some pointers on this topic.

What is the best way to go about refurbishing a high quality exp domain without losing any of its domain authority, trust flow, PR from a website content perspective?

Do I used the old content from the original site? Can I create my own content but similar to the content of the original site?

Any advice on this topic would greatly help. I've already purchased and refurbished a few but I want get an idea to see if I'm on the right track.

Thanks!

The only way to prevent it from losing anything it previously had is to make sure the links aren't gone. Some people try and put all the old content up, but I don't think that is a huge issue. As long as you keep it relevant and unique, new content won't hurt..

You can try recreating the site using the old content, but the important thing is to rebuild the pages that have any valuable backlinks pointing to them. You can also 404 redirect the pages to your homepage if you want to be lazy about it.

First, check if there are any juicy inner pages worth rebuilding.

90+% of strong links will just go to the homepage. So most of the time there is nothing you need to bother rebuilding.
