Hello
I have a question. I have some sites and I want to improve their SEO. I am thinking to use blogger.com and I will explain the reasons and tell me if those reasons I think are true.
1) blogger.com is owned by Google so in my opinion that can help to the SEO of how they develop it. No coding errors and all those things.

I know that SEO it depends from a lot of things and not just if the developer created good the site or not.

My question is:
1)Let's say I am using "example.com" and I have 500 articles with blogger.com
or
2)I am using "example.com" with the same articles at another blog (wordpress , joomla , drupal)

I have everything same, content , articles...everything
Which one will have better ranking?

Forget the idea that Blogger has magical SEO powers just because it's owned by Google, there's no advantage. If you want to rank a page, you're doing the same SEO regardless what CMS you use.

I know you're just exaggerating, but no they don't. Not even close. No site has uptime that great, and Blogger isn't making any guarantees. At least not for their free accounts.

Not really that important for your average site, especially if you're just going to post articles and trying to do some SEO. And I'd guess that not all their templates are absolutely top notch.

There's a major downside to Blogger and all the other hosted services: they're limited on purpose. Probably not that big of a deal when you're just publishing normal blog posts, but if you wan't something more advanced you're out of luck. On the other hand you can move to self-hosted CMS pretty easily provided that it's got some sort of import script for the service you've chosen.

Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

        What's your excuse?

Yes i understand this. I don't want advanced things. Only article posting. As i mentioned before i have arround 100 sites. I have some results but the good with blogger i ''win'' too much time to built blogs. If i want something more advanced i can understand that is limited. I know everything that blogger gives you and it's fine for the reason i want it. I don't want more advanced things.
I just want to save time. They answer me other people my question. If you have good content no problem what CMS you are using. So blogger at my situation i think will be fine.
I am developer and I have arround 100 sites. The most of them are in Joomla. I am 27 years old now and I am using JOomla from 15 when the version was Joomla 1.0 and when the internet wasn't so ''big'' That i am trying to say i know what advanced tools give you CMS like joomla and wordpress but in the situation of the specific sites that I want to use in blogger it's too much those things

It doesn't matter Google owns it or not but the most important thing is that those tons of articles is unique, interesting, engaging, and provides great user experience then rankings will follow.

No benefit, I would prefer WordPress over Blogger if i had to choose free blogging site. For me, WordPress is more easy to use.
    What about blog.example.com ?

You're kidding right? WP is a blouted piece of crap that has made every
Tom, Dick, and Harry think they can become webmasters.....

Easier for what? Needing a bunch of nonsense plugins to do anything?
Not being able to add things like adsense? Surely you jest....

If blogger was so hard, it would not be one of the top 20 or so sites
visited in the world...yup, higher than WP.

Besides, blogspot comes SEO'd right out of the box exactly the way
google intended it. You can't beat that.

Everyone should have a blogspot blog as an adjunct to each website.

Just like a FB, twitter, and YT account.

In fact, one could make a tidy sum just with blogspot and YT.

      Big secret, I suppose.

Talking about WordPress.com or WordPress.org? The former is the hosted service that you should compare to Blogger. It's irrelevant if the code has bloat, because WP.com's tech ops take care of your site.

WP.org can be bloated if you install the wrong kind of plugins. This is true with any PHP-based CMS.

So Blogger has the exact same tags that the other systems have too. I don't give much credit to anyone for getting the basics right.

No idea about joomla or drupal but I can rank 100 times better with self hosted Wordpress site than Blogger. The simple reason is I would have total control over wordpress.

And don't trust Google too much, any suspicious activity and your blog will be removed.

If you're going to use the blog to link to sites you own, be careful. It's against Blogger's TOS to manipulate rankings in Google by linking to sites (so, your blog better have a powerful reason to exist besides SEO.

Even then, if they think you're trying to pass link juice, they'll delete your blog. At least, if it's free.

I was also thinking like the OP.
So I used many keywords to create sub-domains 23333333333.blogger.com, 2332222222222.blogspot.com
But the traffic from there was very low compared to other sites hosted on a full domain. Thesame content hosted on Wordpress and a full Domain had a higher ranking and generated more traffic than that hosted with Blogger.
So I will advice you continue developing your website, and can link it to Blogger, than developing it fullly on Blogger.
