In SEO proposes is exactly the same right?

    A simple Google search for the keyword how-to with a hyphen would show you Google is smart enough to separate the two keywords. After the Google search, do a browser page search for the real keyword how to.

    There's your answer, no hyphen on most of the search result text.

    BTW, an EMD isn't going to rank a page If that's what you're thinking.
