Hello,
I have many articles in my website with titles than contain a year - for example : "best protein powder 2015"

If i change the year in the title every year (for example - from "best protein poweder 2015" to "best protein poweder 2016" ) - can it have any negative effect on the ranking of my website?
Won't google rank me low because the article is "old" - but the title is "new" ?

If you change only the title, it might have some impact on SEO. Also if you article has backlinks and seo works done for the keyword + 2014, then if you change the title to keyword + 2015, you have to improve your SEO again, on-site and off-site too.

I recommend changing the title as often as you can.
      Also metas.
      Also content.

It when you change the url name of an indexed page, then you lose everything.

Yes, adding/removing/editing a date on a webpage can have a negative or positive impact on the SERPs.

A page title is one of the strongest on-page metrics for ranking pages.

Assumes you're ranking #1 on Google SERPs. If you're not ranking any pages all you can do is improve, nothing to lose.

BTW, you don't have to edit a URL when changing a page title.

Why not publish a new article? Complete with new date, new stats,
mix it up, add a new product, etc.

And on the previous published articles, give a link to the new update.
