Youtube Video does not appear in Google Search

Hi Guys

I have created a video and optimised it in Youtube with correct title and description, custom thumbnail, geo tagging, transcript, use of cards and annotations and had a few thousands view. My video appears in the number 1 position of Youtube and Google videos, yet fails to appear in google search (anywhere)

Is there any reason why it would not appear in Serps? Ive seen lesser optimised videos get there.

    I don't have a source to cite, but I think it's another Google change. I too have seen a decrease in these types of results.

      There may be a decrease as you said, but I just went to YouTube, searched "ship building", picked one of the top 3 vids, and then went back to Google and searched part of its title (dry dock 12) and up came a YT vid in the serps. I also searched a YT video that I uploaded several years ago and its also still one of the top search results for various search terms.

      If you want you can PM me the video you are hoping shows up on Google's regular search, and I'll tell you what comes up when I search for it (title, words in description, etc.)

    It's SEO, your Youtube webpage is competing in the SERPs just like millions of other web pages. Where the page is hosted is irrelevant (ex: Youtube).

    I'm also having the same issues.

    I have this post I created about HOW TO BLOG ON MOBILE PHONES WITHOUT STRESS and I also created a video tutorial about it which can be viewed at YOUTUBE and it is embedded in the post. but its not showing on search results. please help.
