I got slapped by Google but do not know why. Could you people take a look at my site and tell me anything that looks suspect.

    you have 8000 pages in the index. Are you talking about adwords? I dont see a penalty.

      Because there is no penalty. At least not in this case.

      Maybe it's a case of searching for a little link lov from the forum. The traffic we just gave it was just a little bonus. :rolleyes:

    Nooooo...this site was ranking 4th for and los angeles and infiniti keyword! Now it is gone. I had boxed in the footer text at the bottom and I think that caused some sort of penalty. I have since fixed that but still the SERPs are way down in Google. But still way up in Yahoo and Bing. So I did something Google does not like! How about the white text at the bottom? Suspect?

    You're seeing the flux, which used to be the dance when it was slower, which used to be easier to monitor before google got cagy about hiding which particular server farms were serving what responses, and the flux has gotten fluxier and will continue as G increases behavioral and regional SERPing. The day will come where #1 in Google is as personal as your IP address and assorted cookies your browser sends.
