Added EV SSL Cert, now search query data flatlined

Hello,

We had an EV SSL certificate added to our website but now looking at the GWT Analytics, our search traffic has flat lined (literally!).

From the day it was installed, the graph bounces down, then literally flat lines.

Also, is there anything we need to do in our GWT dashboard?

Is there something that was missed here?

    As you have installed EV SSL Certificate, your website is redirected form http to HTTPS.


    So, you need to configure your website again with HTTPS.

    There might be an another problem than EV certificate for diminishing traffic. Because we've never heard any business suffering with such issue. In-fact Google has given signal to boost ranking for HTTPS enabled websites.

    Agree with martin and as well as Petty too. Becasue the issue which you have described here for GA (Google analytic) is not becasue of ev ssl certificate installation but it is becasue of improper SEO.

    After installing ssl certificate on website, it will run on https then you must have to redirect your website url from http to https through 301 redirect. And after that you must have to submit your website url with https in webmaster tool.

    So as per my knowledge, you forgot to submit https url in google webmaster tool after redirection and because of it, you are getting flat lines. Becasue currently google is considering http url for your website which has been alreadyredirected to https url.
