Using the same template for all your mini sites?

Is there anything wrong with using the same template for all of your mini sites? Right now I'm just duplicating the same template and changing the header images to reflect the theme of each site.

Will the search engines care?

      Yeah I hope google doesn't mind either, especially if the template "works".

    Templates are OK. There is no mention of duplicate template penalty in any SEO guides out there. Therefore you can safely take it that it is never part of the Google's algorithms unless proven otherwise.

    I use duplicate template on over 25 sites, so far no problems found.. Most of my sites are on #1 page of google

    Well, the onpage SEO may be a small problem, but not a big one
    because Google at least set value to the realted backlinks.
